funniesShe brought this lovely home from Ms Laura's yesterday. She loooooves drawing and she's getting really good at drawing pictures of people with real details (hands, eyes, etc). This is a picture she drew of her family. There's me on the left, and Roger on the right. Little Emma in the middle and we're all standing on grass. How cute is it that we're all under a rainbow?! Anyway, my favorite part?

Second funny of the day had to do with this fantastic gift:
She got this wonderful bead-making kit from Cailin for her birthday and Ms Laura told me how much Emma enjoyed opening it. According to her, the conversation went a little like this:
Emma: (opening gift) "Oh! cool! beads!"
Laura: "Yes - you can make your own necklace or bracelet, and you can spell words. You can spell anything you want....like, 'mom' or 'peace' or 'love'. You could spell your name....anything!"
Emma: "Oh! I am going to make a necklace for my mom!"
Laura: "That's great! What do you think you'll spell?"
Emma: (without missing a beat) "Peace and Quiet".
